Yay For New Season and the DVR
Survivor, The Office, and SNL special did not disappoint. Still have to watch new recorded eps of Top Chef and Community.

“Employees don’t quit companies, they quit people” — I was the 7th person to leave over a three week period, and just today I found out #8 turned in his notice. And yet the “people” in this quote still don’t get it.
Buh-Bye evil corporation. Adios to being thrown under the bus. So long to unprofessional ass hats with no people skills. Kiss my ass all the angry self righteous bitchy customers. To the nice people I dealt with over the years: thanks for making up for the aformentioned crappy ones for so long.

Two weeks ago I quit my job. Yes in this economy and job market, I vouluntarily walked out of my job. Yeah, it just got that bad. My regret? — that I didn’t do it three years ago. I won’t bore you with the details, I think anyone who knows me either personally or just from reading my (seriously neglected) online home here, knows the day to day trials and tribulations I had with my job. Not that there were not good aspects over the years, but there just came a point where the negatives just totally took over all aspects of daily work life. Stomache aches, headaches, and daily dread became normal. It was actually odd to have a good day and that’s just fucked up. Life’s too short and frankly I think I deserve better.
So after taking it easy for a couple weeks, but still doing my part time job from home, I am going to get my resume and face out to the greater Pittsburgh area. Doing what? Not sure yet. I’m still pondering that. I’m trying to reflect on what I like in life and how I can make that work for me. Maybe it means doing any kind of work while training for something new in a new field. Who knows? Not me……..yet.
